Camp Donations – In Memory of Eric Smith:

Eric Roddy Smith, 53 passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 following a long battle against cancer. He is survived by Missy, his loving wife of 22 years, and beloved daughters Kaylin and Avery, parents Pete and Judy Smith, brother Peter Smith and sisters Stacey Fernandez and Katie Yang as well as a large extended family and countless close friends.

Eric was born in Towson, Maryland and spent joyful summers in Sherwood Forest. His devotion to the Sherwood Forest camp was unparalleled. In June he, Missy and the girls fulfilled their dream to move permanently to Sherwood.

The Sherwood Forest Boys & Girls Summer Camp

• CAMP ELIGIBILITY: In order to register for Sherwood Forest Boys and Girls Camp, the registrant must be a child or grandchild of a member or limited member. A guest is eligible for enrollment in Camp during the period said guest is residing full time in the home of a member or limited member.

• You will be required to acknowledge that the camper is eligible to attend Sherwood Forest Boys and Girls Camp in order to complete the registration process. If you have questions about this eligibility rule or know you will be unable to abide by this rule, please contact  camp@sfactivitiescommittee.com prior to completing registration.

Boys and Girls Camp Registration

The Sherwood Forest athletic program is designed to offer a full spectrum of competitive and non-competitive sports and physical activities to expose each participant to every possible endeavor that time, finances, and facilities will allow. Included are competitive individual and team athletic activities. The athletic program is balanced by the Camp’s many and varied creative and/or educational programs in the creative arts and natural sciences.
